Okita's Story
Okita grew up in Sui-no-Sato, under the careful eye of his mother and father. Adventurous from birth, Okita would spend his childhood sneaking away from home and exploring the ruby sea. He quickly made friends with the Blue Kojin, and through them, learned the way of the samurai.One day, while out on the sea, he met a girl under the pirate confederacy. An Elezen named Asa. The two quickly became friends, spending much of their childhood and teen years together- much to the frustration of his isolationist home.Asa was a studious one, and inspired Okita to follow in her footsteps. After many years, the two married, and left Sui-no-Sato, and the Ruby Sea as a whole, in search of opportunities.When the calamity struck, Asa and Okita traveled to the west, to study the effects that had beheld the land of Eorzea. The two met many different people and saw a many great things in their time there. The two personally came to love Limsa Lominsa, making their home there.The two were happy, for a time, but all good things end. Asa has left the star, and left Okita a changed man. For years he would hide away within his study, working for the Maelstrom.Things are different now, however. His good friends have finally gotten him back out and moving, and his adventures continue anew!

CookingOkita works with the Culinarians Guild in Limsa Lominsa, acting as a mentor to many aspiring chefs. While he likes to remain humble about it, he is an incredible cook!
Aether:The study of Aether is ultimately Okita's primary focus. The manner of subjects this covers is quite broad, and ever-expanding.A Wellspring:
Okita's body hosts a great deal of aether, more so than your average person. Despite this, in his quest for knowledge Okita will frequently push his body to the limit- though with care he can recuperate fast.Memories:
Okita has researched how one can sap the memories of a person, containing them with objects not unlike soul crystals. He doesn't like the practice, however.Aether-sight:
Okita's vast research of Aether, coupled with his ever-growing pool of it, have allowed him to focus and channel the ability to see aether itself.
The Fae:Okita's fae partner was once Asa's. As such, while he is no master of the fae, he has a wide knowledge of them, and knows how to communicate with them to.
Chronomancy:
Okita once pondered if one could snatch the hands of time itself, and rewrite history. He's come far with his research of these magiks, but is always hunting for more.
